Last night was a whole lot of fun. The sauna was really nice and I even went outside and jumped into the snow. In the morning I had a pretty bad headache from the wine but luckily M gave me some painkillers to remove the headache. Somewhere around 3pm we packed all our things and headed to the car. The first 50m was ok but then we saw what was ahead of us. The strong wind had blown huge stacks of snow onto the road and it was quite impossible to get through them with the car we had. We even got stuck . So after getting the car out of the snow we cleared a path for the car. After driving another 300m we got to our next obstacle. This time the snowpiles were so high and they went on for 50m that we called quits. We called up the village manager and he told us that he would try to arrange a tracktor to clear the road for us. Our only option was to go back to the house. This was actually a good thing because now we had time to make a proper salad and eat the leftover soup and other food that we had with us. Finally around 7pm we got going and got out of the village fine this time. We drove to the harbour to catch a ferry to the mainland and discovered that A-M had left something back at the house. This was a little drawback but as we weren’t in a rush and the house was only 5km from the harbour we happily went back to get the forgotten stuff. After all the hassle we finally catched the 8 o’clock ferry and drove back to Tallinn. All in all the trip was really nice and I really enjoyed just chilling out with good people . The house was nice, the weather was perfect, the food was good and the only negative thing about the whole trip was my running nose. So this wraps up the holiday part of the week and tomorrow I’m heading to Tallinn for the 2010 Simpel Session. I have some friends coming over to Tallinn and it’s going to be a weekend full of skateboarding, BMX and partying. It’s going to be weird to go to the big city after the last five days in the countryside. But I’m still looking forward to it and I bet it’s going to be a blast. Peace Out!
