Woke up this morning to a beautiful sunny morning in the Estonian countryside in Muhu island. I felt a bit snoozy but otherwise everything was pretty much perfect. Before we even got out of bed M and A-M called us for breakfast. M had cooked some omelettes and we also ate a piece of this cake that A-M had prepared a few days back. It felt exactly like being in a countryside B&B. Soon after this we decided to go for a walk and see this mansion nearby. It was beautiful as expected and it was refreshing to be outside in the cold air. When we got back to the house we stayed outside for a bit and cleared the road from this thick snow that the wind had gathered on the road. As our exit route from the house was secured we chilled by this swing and had some fun in the snow. I only had jeans on but that didn’t stop K from trying her best to wrestle me into the snow. The rest of the day passed with A-M cooking up some chicken-mushroom pasta. I added some smoked salmon instead of the chicken. We also played this game called Munchkin which is pretty cool. Right now I just woke up from a little nap and it’s 21.40pm and A-M is cooking some collieflower-broccoli soup and then the rest of the evening is going to include some more Munchkin, good food, wine and of course the sauna. Not a bad way to spend your week off from school I’d say.
