Trippin

Another blog post with the same old beginning - I haven't written anything in a while for multiple reasons. This time I just didn't feel like it.
But anyways about ten days ago me and Kirke decided one morning, that morning being wednesday that we don't want to spend the weekend in Tartu. On tuesday night we went to see this Julia Roberts flick called Eat, Pray, Love and in the film Julia Roberts went to Bali. The film was pretty much shit but Bali stayed in both of our minds. So on that wednesday morning we were joking around that maybe we should go to Bali the same day. Slowly the conversation moved on to a point where we were discussing what classes we have before the weekend and can we skip any of those. The conversation ended with the conclusion that we have too much important stuff to do and Bali or any other place had to wait. I went to my spanish class that day and just as I was entering the building where my class was I got a call from Kirke. She said to me "fuck it, let's do it". At that point I had already given up the idea of going somewhere but I said ok and told her that I'll just go to my spanish class and then we'll see where we can get some cheap plane tickets. It turned out that the cheapest place to go on that day was Brussels and we bought the tickets, travelled by bus to Riga and on thursday morning we got on a plane. I don't really have the energy to write about all that happened but I can say that we had a really nice weekend and we saw a lot. We had a travel log with us where we wrote everything down and maybe one day I'll post it.

After the trip everything has been pretty boring. I got a consultant professor or whatever you call it for my bachelor thesis and we got the new Fifa 11. Thursday was a bit more interesting as I was playing at Club Illusion. The party upstairs wasn't as good as last year when I played but it was decent and I had a good time all in all. I played a lot of electronic stuff and also some dancehall. The next day passed by sleeping the whole day and I felt surprisingly hung over.

So now it's already sunday and today I haven't done anything. I don't really know what I should have done either so I don't feel too bad about it. I feel sorry for Kirke though as she has had to study shitloads and unfortunately she's been neglecting her studyduties today. I hope she can get her stuff worked out but right now I dont really envy her as she has to pull an allnighter. As for me I'm going to sleep and while doing that I'm going to listen to this tune. P.S This tune reminded me that today I started making a new playlist for tunes I'd like to have in my Rainy Day Blues Vol.2 Mix. So this means I'll try to make a new mix of übersmooth going-to-sleep tunes soon. We'll see when I actually get it done but I have a good selection of tunes already.
